I was able to do some really fun VFX work for the Giancarlo Iannotta directed short film “My Big Red Purse.” Rightly so, his film gained national attention and made its rounds through the festival circuits, including SXSW in 2010. This is a period piece that required a ton of modern-car removal. This was very new territory for me as I normally do more design-driven projects but it was a lot of fun. This was all accomplished in After Effects (without clean plates to work from). Above is a before/after reel I put together, for you, so watch it.
I know you love the music, it’s Veronica Maggio.
